- Gal brought back yarn because there was a knot in it. I know you knitters will understand.
- Someone else was in the store for an hour, asking questions, finally buying a ball of yarn, going home, coming back for knitting lessons (she didn't know how to read the free pattern) and then choosing a hat pattern and wanting me to photocopy it so she didn't have to buy it. I didn't.
- I wrapped up two Christmas tree ornaments, one of which was returned because the star was missing. 100% sure it wasn't missing when I wrapped it - it was so obvious. Just exchanged it and tossed broken one in garbage. I don't care. Not arguing.
- Had jacket on and almost out the door when I was accosted by a needy customer, who kept me for over half an hour and ended up buying nothing. I think I need a Valium. I've never had one. A question for those of you who've had them? Would they help? Or would a Machine Gun be better?
- Up til this week, our frilly yarns have all been on sale for 20 - 25% off. The Boxing Week Sale has all the yarn in the store at Buy One Get One 50% Off - and customers are upset because they can't get the previous sale, which was no better (and in some cases worse.)
And it goes on and on.
- Breakfast - Toast and Coffee
- Lunch - Corn and Potato Chowder, Roll
- Dinner - Chicken and Cheese Sandwich, Diet Pepsi
- Snacks - Muffin, Yogurt w/Fruit, Coffee, 2 QS Chocolates....they are not all gone yet!
